Diversity and Inclusion for Social Sustainability


Welcome to our workshop on Diversity and Inclusion for Social Sustainability! In today’s rapidly changing world, businesses and organizations are increasingly recognizing the importance of creating diverse and inclusive workplaces that promote social sustainability. By embracing diversity and fostering inclusion, we can create a more equitable and just society while also driving innovation, productivity, and success in our workplaces.

During this workshop, we will explore the key concepts of diversity and inclusion, and their role in promoting social sustainability. We will examine the benefits of diversity and inclusion, as well as the challenges and barriers that can prevent us from achieving our goals. Through a series of interactive activities and discussions, we will explore practical strategies for creating more inclusive and diverse workplaces, and learn how to promote social sustainability through our everyday actions.

By the end of this workshop, you will have a deeper understanding of the importance of diversity and inclusion in promoting social sustainability, and the skills and knowledge necessary to promote diversity and inclusion in your workplace. You will also have the opportunity to connect with other like-minded individuals and share your experiences and perspectives on this critical topic. We hope that you will leave this workshop feeling inspired and empowered to create positive change in your workplace and in your community.


At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Define key concepts related to diversity and inclusion, including unconscious bias, cultural awareness, and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Identify the benefits of promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace, including improved creativity, innovation, and productivity, as well as the role of diversity and inclusion in promoting social sustainability.
  • Recognize the barriers and challenges to creating inclusive and diverse workplaces, and develop strategies for addressing these challenges.
  • Develop an action plan for promoting diversity and inclusion in your workplace, including specific steps to foster a more inclusive workplace culture and create more equitable opportunities for all employees

MSME and SME Managers, Business Support Organization staff, Sustainability Professionals, HR practitioners, the general public.


For the learners to be enrolled in this course, he/she will be screened for the following:

  • Literacy and numeracy capabilities equivalent to WPLN level 4 and above
  • At least 1-year of experience providing support services or peers.



Learners who have successfully completed will receive a Statement of Attainment from Skillsfuture Singapore titled “Diversity Awareness and Management SSC-PPR-4008-1.1” and Certificate of Attendance issued by Blended Concept Pte Ltd and Environiche LLP. 


SSG Course Title: TGS-2022016431 Cultural and social diversity in the helping process (Synchronous and Asynchronous E-learning) 

Course funding support period: 14-10-2022 to 13-10-2024


$750 per learner (SSG funding of up to 70% available)

Learner is required to attain a minimum 75% attendance and complete the assessment in order to receive SSG funding and certificate.
