COURSE DESCRIPTION

Have you ever felt exhausted, worn out, numb, angry, or sad because of your work? Or seen a colleague’s outlook about work and life turn negative or cynical due to work stress and burnout?

Empathy and compassion are at the heart of professionals dealing with people. You could be a manager, teacher, social worker, counsellor, nurse, coach, volunteer, human resource executive or front-line service staff, excessive work demands and managing people’s difficult emotions can make you feel powerless and hopeless.

Whether or not you or your colleagues are suffering from it, it is important to build resilience through practical self-care involving effective counselling and coaching techniques. The result is better client or customer care, reduction in burnout stressor and a renewed purpose in helping others.

At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  3. Facilitate self-care activities to help professionals and team build health and wellbeing resilience
  4. Apply effective techniques in counselling and coaching in managing professional in stress
  5. Develop holistic framework to manage burnout

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

For the learners to be enrolled in this course, he/she will be screened for the following:

  • Literacy and numeracy capabilities equivalent to WPLN level 5 and above

CERTIFICATION

Learners who have successfully completed will receive a Certificate of Attendance issued by Blended Concept Pte Ltd and Environiche LLP.

Learner is required to attain a minimum 75% attendance and complete the assessment in order to receive SSG funding and certificate.
